Company Profile

Plain Language Management Information Services commenced operations in Sydney, New South Wales, in March 1990.

Our first contract in that month was a user manual for a report writer software package, called CLQUERY, that was in beta testing at the construction company De Martin & Gasparini, a division of Boral Limited at the time.

Initially we had envisaged offering our expertise in the areas of materials requisition planning (MRP) systems and in computer services business development, but we quickly saw a bigger market opportunity for business communications and documentation, especially involving business software applications and their systems.

Other varied contracts followed, slowly at first, and in the next three years our client list included: AAP Communications Limited, Barret Support Services, Motec Personnel, Gestetner Lasers Australia and Techway Limited.

In march 1993, Plain Language commenced operations in Melbourne, Victoria, expanding its service offerings to include project management, and instructional support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and Mincom.

Today Plain Language offers a wide range of business support and management information services.
